The terms “hybrid” and “bi-energy” get used interchangeably on job sites, but they describe two different things. Understanding which one you’re hiring helps you plan your site power and fuel needs correctly.
Hybrid Equipment
Hybrid machines use an electric motor and a combustion engine working together within a single integrated drivetrain. The system automatically manages which power source is active depending on the load and conditions — the operator doesn’t switch between them.
